20th madness

The 20th anniversary. An empty space. A group of motivated individuals. A great group to say the least.

Solange won the race, Brandon plowed through the power, and Bobby dominated the endurance progression.

The Evolution:

10 min. wounded bear crawl, the one who travels the farthest doesn't do 10 pullups
Then
SDHP/DIPS: 24,18,12 of each for time
Then
10 HSPU+20 pullups+30 KB squat clean+40 situps+50 burpees for time

Everyone finished.

"20th Madness: Night of the Living Dead"

How many people there that night do you think pushed themselves to achieve more than they would have thought possible going into it?

There were a lot of very game and very brave souls putting out a huge effort.

I agree buddy. Every time an evolution is presented in the first few moments of madness a general look of "what the fuck?" falls over the faces of the group. During the evolution, a look of "Why am I doing this?" falls over the group. Then, when its all over, and everyone finishes, and an instant trauma bond is formed within the group, a look of "Holy shit, I did it and I'm awesome" falls over those same faces. I was very pleased with the performances on #20.

Still looking for my original time on "The Revisit." Can't find it yet.

Power 5:20 with rings and 24kg

The Revisit 11:27 with 30# kbs on the squat clean

Burpees never get fun.

Burpees suck major ones... but I felt amazing once it was all said and done. Can't wait for this week!

Alex. Glad to hear from you. Your eagerness to subject yourself to agony is inspiring. Can't wait to see you more.
